If you feel your life lacks purpose, you may just be right.
For most of my life, I had a vague notion about where I wanted to be, what I wanted to achieve….
But it wasn’t until a few years ago that I actually started to chronical my ambitions. On my laptop, I now keep a Word document, outlining the things I want to achieve, and a date by which I hope to make them a reality.
A lot of the time, I cannot actualise the goal by the date set, but I don’t let that send me into a state of depression.. I simply adjust the date to a new and future one, by which I hope to get it done. (That is the magic of the computer – you can just delete and adjust as suits the circumstances.)
But hey! Let me tell you something!
It is just amazing how many of these aims I have brought to fruition over the years. Not only does this process clarify one’s thinking on priorities, but it gives life meaning and a sense of great achievement when the success of a project is highlighted in the ‘attained’ colour of your choice.
Try it! It works!
