- My name is Cavin Wright and I was born in Salisbury (now Harare) in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe)...ho hum...how the world has changed! That was way back in 1952. I scraped through my A-levels at Churchill Boys' High School, having been far more interested in my sports of water polo, rugby, swimming and gymnastics. From the age of nine, I had wanted to go to sea - the last thing I wished to do was work in an office, and definitely not in accountancy...but guess what...I found my girlfriend even more attractive than the sea...and signed articles for Chartered Accountancy... Six years later, moved (with my now wife) to South Africa, where, after a few more depressingly boring years in accountancy, switched to estate agency. Hey! This was fun! I was divorced soon thereafter, but the work was great. By then I was totally immersed in writing, but getting published from South Africa was extremely difficult - we were the pariahs of the world because of Apartheid. Eventualy, however, I got From Dust to Trust published. I now live in England and have since had Bedtime Stories and The Golden Prize published, and almost ready for release is Bedtime Sagas. I have always been interested in Egypt, and especially the Hall of Records. I have been to Egypt as part of my rather extensive travel, and was fascinated by its antiquity. My main long-term goal is to find the Hall of Records, and The Golden Prize documents how this might be achieved.
